PEH Radiology Department X-Ray Room

Hugh Rose, founder of Arts for Impact, was on site at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital on Friday 11th November with Hospital Arts Coordinator Lottie Barnes from the Guernsey Arts Commission to oversee installation of the artwork for Radiology's new X-Ray Room.

The Radiology Department commissioned Arts for Impact to make the room child-friendly, helping the department to bring young patients into the space, and providing tools to distract their attention while their scans are being performed.

Hugh created artwork that incorporates the high-tech equipment to make the room look like a space-ship interior, with make-believe control panels, airlock doors and portholes looking out into space.
